About

Do you love traveling, exploring new places, meeting new people, experiencing new things?

That in a nut shell is what this blog is about. My desire is to share and promote travel in a personal way. I’ll be sharing my own travel journeys and adding comments from friends I meet along the way.

Most of the best times of my life and my best memories involve travel. I look forward creating more great memories and sharing them with you here, I hope you enjoy it. I also hope that it encourages you to create some wonderful new memories with your own travel.

Travel enriches life and opens minds as we become exposed to the world beyond our neighborhood. Travel allows us to connect to our country and hopefully the world in a real way that we can not do any other way. It can help us see familiar things with new eyes and unfamiliar things in person, with our eyes, rather than through someone else. Yes, I’ll be enjoying and recommending resorts, I’ll also be exploring beyond resort properties and recommending that as well.

Travel can be so enriching and life changing that I believe it should be a high priority for everyone. I haven’t traveled much as an adult, but I know how rewarding it can be and I am making it, and sharing my explorations, a very high priority. Mark Twain said that “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” I agree and believe in this world that is ever growing smaller that it is essential.

Perhaps though you don’t have the time or money freedom to travel as much as you’d like. That’s where I was, I wanted to travel – just one problem, I couldn’t afford it.

One day a friend shared this with me…

Love What You Do, Or Do Something Else.

You’ll never achieve real success unless you love what you’re doing.

No one has ever succeeded in a line or endeavor which they did not like.

Your chances of success are directly proportional
To the pleasure you derive from what you do.

If you’re in a job you hate, face the fact squarely and get out.

It’s better to be a failure in something you love,
Than attempting to be a success in something you don’t.

Don’t set compensation as a goal.
Find the work you love, and the compensation will follow.

The more you love what you are doing,
The more successful it will be for you.

Please note: Facing the fact squarely and getting out, doesn’t mean just quitting what you hate, it means finding what you love and getting that working for you first so that you can afford to quit what you hate.

After reading “Love What You Do, Or Do Something Else.” I started to ask “How can I?”, “How can I travel, have fun, AND earn a great living at the same time?” Is there a way to do that? I want to explore cities, towns, beaches, and mountains. I want to see the attractions and culture. I want to meet local people, eat in the best local places, and make friends around the world. I want the life expanding experience that I know travel can bring. I want to do that AND earn a great living too! Finding an answer to that question that works for me and that I love is what makes this blog possible.

What about you, would you like to do that as well? Is there a way?

Well, you could be a tour guide, but that would most likely have you working the same area most of the time, that’s not what I wanted. You could be a travel writer but to really earn a good living you’d have to be really great. I may be good, but I’m not sure that I’m good enough to have the lifestyle that I want. Same with travel photography. I am doing both travel writing and photography with this blog because I enjoy them, but I don’t want to depend on them for my income. For one thing if, for some reason, I couldn’t write or photograph for a while, my income would stop. No, I want residual income that will continue regardless of what I am doing.

I even thought of becoming a travel agent but traditional travel agencies are all but gone having been replaced by online travel agencies. I asked is there a way with my desire to travel, photograph, and write about it, to benefit from this change? Yes, my research showed me that I could be an online, home based, travel agent. I also discovered I could do far better than just being an online travel agent, and you can too!

What do I mean by far better? I mean a way to build wealth with travel. There are many ways to become a home based travel agent that only provide linear income, not residual or leveraged income. So if you stop working, your income stops.

Let me ask you a question. Which business person is wealthy, the person with one store or vending machine, who does all the work themselves, or the person who builds a network of them? The person with just one is most likely overworked and underpaid. The person who builds a network is likely very wealthy. As multi-millionaire author Robert Kiyosaki of “Rich Dad Poor Dad” says “The poor look for work, the rich build networks” The great news is that you and I can build a network of online referring travel agencies, and it’s lots of fun too!

Now, you may ask how this can compete with the huge online travel agencies that spend millions in advertising? Simple, first of all you’ll have the resources of one of those working for you. Second, you and everyone you share this opportunity with, have something those impersonal websites don’t have which makes this great opportunity possible, you have YOU! Your personal touch, personal connections, experiences, AND enthusiasm. Millions spent in advertising simply don’t carry the influence of one excited persons vacation experience.

You may have heard that word of mouth is the most powerful form of advertising. That is absolutely right, but I bet that you’re not often naturally telling people about the latest vitamin, dish soap, or shampoo that you bought. Am I right?

I also bet that when you get back from a wonderful vacation, you are telling everyone you know and maybe even people you don’t know about it. You are probably not just talking about it, you’re showing them pictures that you took too. Am I right? This really is something that you are already doing!

Has a friend or family member ever taken a vacation because of your enthusiastic recommendation? Well now due to the Internet and a revolution in the travel industry, you can benefit from your enthusiastic travel recommendations, and your friends and family can as well.

This is why you want to help others become referring travel agents as well. They have a personal touch and connections that you don’t have. They will also take vacations and make recommendations that you don’t, they should be able to profit from it too. Who better to tell them how than you? This also builds residual and leveraged income. You profit from what you AND those you help do, and they have the exact same opportunity.

If you love to travel

  • You are already doing this business.
  • You are already spending more money for travel than you would in this business.
  • You are already flying the same airlines, cruising on the same ships, staying at the same hotels or resorts.
  • You likely spending after tax money instead of pre-tax money and writing it off.
  • You are already telling others about your travel.
  • Except for wonderful memories and souvenirs you aren’t benefiting from it.

Watch this video now if you like what you see e-mail me with your contact information I would be glad to send you detailed information on a fantastic travel business opportunity that can create a better life for you which includes a lot of fun, travel, and money. Plus you WILL have help to do it. As “Rich Dad Poor Dad” author and Multi-millionaire Robert Kiyosaki says “Building wealth is a team sport” When you do it with travel it can be lots of fun too!

May All Your Life’s Travels Be Richly Blessed

One note: This blog is part of my fun. People are very successful building wealth in travel without doing this and I have to be careful doing it, so as to not misrepresent company or product I’m affiliated with.

That said, if something like this could be part of your fun, I encourage doing it. For myself, I’d be frustrated if I couldn’t do it. It’s a great way keep those wonderful memories of travel alive and share them. At the same time it’s a great way to refer travel to others even long after you’ve taken a particular vacation. Plus it’s a good way to further document what you are doing to promote your travel business for tax purposes. It can also be a good tool for attracting others to your business as they see how much fun you are having. Regardless of whether you blog or not if you love travel, I encourage to have fun and build wealth traveling. It’s a fantastic way of life
